Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Her first professional career when she was thirteen and was a part of Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. The Arden Theater production of Into the Woods the actress won a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. The actress reprised her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002 and was nominated for an Drama League Award. Molly was also part of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a part of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the year 2008. in Religion. In the same time frame, she made her debut as Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly's career continued after graduation with several Off Broadway productions, including them End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater. Molly also worked as a TV actress in Royal Pains as well as an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly participated in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and also in the year the Westport Country Theater's staging of The Diary of Anne Frank which she performed as Anne. Molly has been a star in a variety of regional productions, such as The Diary of Anne Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production. In this play she played the teenager daughter Ali.
